2.5 QUEST LA QLEM Programme Structure (In Partnership with RISE)

A. Roxbourg Launchpad

The first 3 weeks are focused on onboarding new students at Quest LA and RISE. This period also focuses on structuring social ventures or community projects for financial sustainability.

B. Roxbourg & Quest LA Seminars

The next 30 to 45 weeks constitute a critical execution sprint inclusive of attending over 100+ interactive Roxbourg & Quest LA seminars. During this period, our primary focus shifts toward strategic deal structuring—identifying and securing the essential capital and partnerships required to scale your venture.

Once your legal entity is registered with local authorities and your digital footprint (website and social media) is firmly established, the culmination of this phase is the review by Quest LA SABs prior to the review by Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB), which serves as the final gateway to graduation and professional certification.

C. Time Commitment

Please note that all students of Quest LA are required to attend the Roxbourg Jam Sessions (Seminars) held every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Students are also required to attend the Anytime JAM seminar held every Thursday solely by Quest LA. Each session last between 2 to 3 hours on the applicable session days.

D. Participating in Jam/Anytime Jam Sessions

To maximize the impact of Roxbourg Jam Sessions and Anytime Jam Sessions and honour the collective time of the Quest LA and the larger Roxbourg community, all participants are expected to adhere to the following standards of excellence:

I. Proactive Preparation
Arrive mentally and strategically prepared for every session by reviewing the weekly curriculum and presentation slides in advance. This ensures our dialogue moves beyond the basics and into high-level transformation. In line with the Roxbourg Policy, students are required to:
"Use the Roxbourg Method - which provides a structured way to build or scale up (accelerate) your venture step by step to formulate your intervention - Purpose & Ambition, Acceleration Plan, Deal Flow and Venture Plan".

II. Punctuality Standard
Time is a leader's most valuable asset. Participants are expected to be present at the start of the session, with a maximum grace period of 20 minutes which is aligned to the Roxbourg grace period. Consistent punctuality reflects your commitment to the "I-QUEST" value of Excellence.

III. Technical Readiness
Ensure a stable internet connection that supports high-definition video. We operate a "Cameras On" policy to foster genuine human connection; your audio must be clear and free from distortion to ensure your contributions are fully understood.

IV. Professional Presence & Conduct

  • Dress Code: Adhere to a professional dress code that reflects the executive nature of the Academy.
  • Attentiveness: Practice active listening. Leadership begins with the ability to hear and synthesize the perspectives of others.
  • Prohibited Activities: To maintain a focused and respectful environment, smoking, eating, or the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during sessions.

V. Jam & Anytime Jam Sessions Governance
Support the Master of Ceremonies at Roxbourg Jam Sessions (School Leadership/Lead) and at Quest LA Anytime Jam Sessions (Academy Head, SAB Member, or Nominated Lead) by adhering to digital protocols:

  • The Queue: Use the "Raise Hand" feature on Zoom when you wish to contribute or ask a question.
  • Order of Dialogue: Only unmute and speak when the MC formally calls your name. This prevents disruption and preserves the "Momentum Anchor."

VI. Courtesy of Presence
Commit to attending the full duration of the session. If an emergency necessitates an early departure, we practice "Graceful Exits":

  • Leave the session quietly without a public announcement or chat message to avoid disrupting the flow.
  • If required, simply send an email to the members of the Roxbourg Team - spaa@roxbourg.mba as stipulated in the Roxbourg Policy and/or the Quest Administrative Team - info@questleadershipacademy.com.

Step 2: Finalize Your Purpose

Who do you want to serve? Where can you make the biggest impact? What is the problem you want to solve?

Step 3: Decide Your Ambition

Based on your specialization and your purpose, what do you want to build? How many people will benefit from your project or venture? In what time frame?

Step 4: Find Partners

Pitch your vision to organizations that share your values including Government agencies or Companies / Foundations who want to promote innovation. Take all the advice you can get before registering your legal entity.

Step 5: Find Potential Users

Pitch to individuals you want to serve. Start marketing and building your brand including website and social media presence based on actual user interaction. You have to protect your overall brand.

Step 6: Create Offer(s)

What will people receive? What are you selling? Each offer needs its own brand. Update your main website URL in line with your venture name and prepare your SEO for each sub-brand - AI engines will love you for simplifying their artificial life!

Step 7: Start Building Capabilities

So, you can deliver your product or service with confidence. Pay your suppliers on time so you receive top tier service.

Step 8: Send Invoices

So, you can get paid by your customers and deliver your services or products. Be ready to switch to the “Pre-pay” model if the customer does not honour the payment plan.

The Roxbourg Service Professional Academic Affairs (SPAA) Team constitutes the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB). The aggregate score from the Roxbourg Accreditation Board (RAB) determines who graduates with a Roxbourg Degree and who receives the Roxbourg Gold Medal. Everyone who graduates or wins the Good100 Medal is invited to apply for the Roxbourg Humanitarian Doctorate or Roxbourg Post Doc Fellowship.

II. Strategic Tier:The Roxbourg Standards Advisory Board (SAB) is elected by each Working Group. 7 Compass Principles

Quest Leadership Academy is dedicated to "Empowering Visionary Leaders" and building the future of commerce and community. To ensure we maintain a "Problem-First Orientation" and foster transformative growth, all members commit to the following Compass Principles:

A. Transformation Mindset

At Quest, we believe in the "Continuum-based Leadership" model. No leader starts with all the answers; we learn by tackling real-world community challenges. We embrace our mistakes as necessary steps in the "Transformation" process, using them to refine our entrepreneurial thinking and practical solutions.

B. Synergy Standard

For our first principle to succeed, we must cultivate a culture of Synergy and Professional Grace. We move past personal friction and forgo grudges to ensure the collective power of our network remains strong. By prioritizing "Uniqueness" and "Quality" in our interactions, we keep the community focused on impact rather than conflict.

C. Momentum Anchor

Always remember your "I-QUEST" objective: You are here for Excellence and Economic Impact. Whether you are in the Quest Leaders Executive MBA Programme or the Quest Young Leaders Programme, respect the momentum of your peers. Do not disrupt the learning flow; maintain the highest level of professional etiquette by not recording sessions or posting media of classmates online without express permission. Our community is a "Safe and Secure" space for innovation.

D. Governance Integrity

We follow the guidance of our Quest Administrative/Steering Team with the same discipline we apply to our ventures. Respect the protocols and evaluations of the Standards Advisory Board (SAB). Please do not attempt to influence assessment decisions through informal channels; we trust in "Responsibility" and the transparency of our assessment standards.

E. Quest Stewardship

The Quest Administrative Team acts as the "Referee" of our academy. They exist to resolve obstacles that could derail your professional race. Following the Quest Terms, Privacy Policy, and Nigerian Law ensures that we build a sustainable "Future of Commerce and Community" together.

8 Code of Conduct

Quest Leadership Academy fosters an environment that is collaborative, respectful, and intellectually stimulating. As visionary leaders committed to the future of commerce, students should recognize that they are seen as ambassadors of Quest.

To uphold an environment driven by our core values (I-QUEST: Integrity, Quality, Uniqueness, Excellence, Synergy, Transformation), Quest Leadership Academy enforces a strict zero-tolerance stance against any behaviour that violates our professional standards. Students are expected to maintain professional conduct in dealing with the Quest community—peers, colleagues, faculty, administrative team, leadership committees, standards advisory board (SAB), advisory board members, industry mentors, and associated partners.

Participants are expected to uphold the Academy's core values and agree not to:

  • Engage in violent, disruptive, abusive, or unethical behaviours including threat, bullying, intimidation or harassment (sexual or otherwise)
  • Misrepresent your venture, credentials, or progress
  • Engage in insubordination or non-compliance with due process
  • Engage in plagiarism or data manipulation
  • Submit assignments or programme deliverables after stipulated deadlines or in unapproved formats
  • Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities
  • Capture video, audio, or photos without prior written authorization
  • Share confidential course content or classroom dialogues with external parties or violate the confidentiality of peers, faculty, or partners
  • Disregard or obstruct institutional disciplinary proceedings
  • Engage in any conduct violating I-QUEST professional standards

Sanctions and corrective interventions—including formal warnings, suspension, or immediate dismissal without refund—may be imposed for any violation of these standards, whether occurring on or off duty.

9 Grievance & Disciplinary Procedure

Quest Leadership Academy operates on a foundation of open communication, fairness, trust and professional grace and outlines its grievance and disciplinary procedure as follows:

A. Grievances Procedure

Quest LA upholds the principles of fair treatment and open communication. Formal grievances must be directed in writing to the Quest Administrative Team to initiate a review. All cases are subject to an impartial assessment to ensure a just outcome. Each submission undergoes an impartial review by the Quest Administrative Team, with the final resolution communicated to the participant within a reasonable timeframe.

B. Disciplinary Procedure

When a student's conduct deviates from the Compass Principles or the I-QUEST standards, the following corrective framework is activated to preserve the professional standards of the community.

Phase I: Initial Rectification (First Breach)
  • Formal Notice of Non-Compliance: The participant will receive an official written warning from the Steering Team documenting the breach of conduct.
  • Restorative Justice: A mandatory written letter of apology must be submitted to the affected leader(s) or the Academy. This letter must demonstrate a "Problem-First" reflection on how the behaviour impacted the community's synergy.
Phase II: Professional Realignment (Second Breach)
  • Suspension: A two-week suspension from all academic sessions, Anytime Jam Sessions, and extracurricular networking opportunities. This period is intended for the participant to step back and recalibrate their conduct to meet the Academy's professional standards.
  • Leadership Review: During this period, the participant's trajectory and "I-QUEST" alignment will be under formal review by the Standards Advisory Board (SAB) and/or Quest Administrative Team as applicable. The review will determine whether the participant possesses the character and conduct required to continue their journey as students towards graduation.
Phase III: Institutional Separation (Severe or Persistent Breaches)
  • Immediate Dismissal: In cases of gross misconduct—including violence, harassment, ethical fraud, plagiarism, data manipulation, breach of confidentiality or repeated disregard for Academy protocols—the participant will be permanently removed/dismissed from the programme/academy.
  • Forfeiture of Status: Dismissal results in the immediate loss of student status, removal from the alumni network, and the cancellation of all graduation eligibility.
  • Financial Accountability: In accordance with our enrolment terms, no refunds of tuition, nominal fees, or administrative levies will be granted upon dismissal.

*Phase III sanction can be imposed for an offence categorised as gross misconduct even if its a first-time occurrence.

10. Guidelines Regarding Time and Engagement

To maintain a high-performance environment that respects the professional schedules of our visionary leaders, the following protocols apply to both Roxbourg Jam Sessions and Quest LA Anytime Jam Sessions:

  • Freedom of Presence: Participants are empowered to manage their own time. You are free to depart from a Jam Session at any time—whether for professional obligations or personal reasons—without the need for a formal announcement. We value your autonomy and trust your judgment in balancing your venture acceleration journey with active participation and attendance of sessions to ensure you achieve minimum of 80% attendance of Jam & Anytime Jam Sessions.
  • Authority of the Chair: During every session, the "Master of Ceremonies" (at Roxbourg) or the "Session Lead/SAB" (at Quest LA) holds the prerogative to conclude a specific debate or transition the discussion at their discretion. This ensures that the collective momentum is preserved and that sessions remain focused on high-impact outcomes.
